Oracle CRM Suites Named Leader in Forrester Research Report

Oracle(R) CRM Suites has been named a leader in the latest Forrester Research’s Sales Force Automation Report. Oracle’s Siebel CRM has earned the strongest overall score. Oracle E-Business Suite CRM and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM were also named leaders.

These scores are listed in the latest Forrester Research Report called “Forrester Wave Evaluation: Sales Force Automation Suites, Q2 April 2007″. In this year’s report, Oracle’s Siebel CRM “earned the strongest overall score”, and the Oracle(R) E-Business Suite CRM and Oracle’s PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM were also each named “A Leader”. Forrester Research has evaluated nineteen sales force automation vendors using 136 criteria to figure out their strengths and weaknesses. This was done in three strategic areas, including current offering, strategy and market presence.

Oracle’s Siebel CRM was recognized for providing “best-in-class sales automation features and a highly flexible architecture that organizations can customize to meet specific business needs … Siebel CRM leads the market in vertical specialization, with deep industry-specific functionality incorporated into solutions for financial services; insurance; life sciences; communications; media; energy; and consumer goods.”
